Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of specialty coffee drinks, including espresso‑based beverages, pour‑overs, cold brews, and signature creations, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipe standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, following health and safety regulations at all times.
- Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, steam wands, and brewing devices with precision and care.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, communicative manner, taking orders, offering product recommendations, and answering questions about coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately manage point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Collaborate closely with fellow baristas, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; report shortages and assist with restocking as needed.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new brewing techniques, seasonal menu items, and emerging coffee trends.
- Work effectively under pressure, meeting tight service timelines while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Contribute ideas for menu innovation, promotional events, and community engagement activities that enhance the café’s brand.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
