Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Community Officer to join our team in Brebes, Jawa Tengah. This role focuses on empowering low‑income women by providing business mentoring, financial literacy, and access to micro‑financing. The successful candidate will be a proactive, empathetic professional who enjoys building relationships and making a tangible difference in the lives of underserved communities.

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned villages and neighborhoods to engage with women entrepreneurs, assess their needs, and develop personalized business support plans.
  • Conduct regular financial literacy workshops covering budgeting, simple bookkeeping, savings discipline, and loan repayment strategies.
  • Facilitate group‑based micro‑loan disbursements without collateral, ensuring transparent documentation and timely follow‑up on repayments.
  • Monitor the performance of funded businesses, offering ongoing coaching, problem‑solving assistance, and referrals to additional resources.
  • Collect and report data on client progress, loan utilization, and impact metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate with local community leaders, NGOs, and government agencies to coordinate complementary development programs.
  • Maintain accurate client records using Microsoft Excel and Word, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with internal policies.
  • Promote the organization’s mission through community events, social media outreach, and word‑of‑mouth networking.

Requirements

  • Female candidates only; age between 18 and 33 years.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 or S1 degrees are highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for social interaction and community building.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with solid organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for reporting and data management.
  • Adaptability to work in varied field conditions and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
