Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and personable Cashier – Retail Sales with Excellent Customer Service to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently to process cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Accurately handle cash drawer opening, closing, and reconciliation at the start and end of each shift.
- Provide courteous, prompt assistance to customers, answering product queries and guiding them through the ordering process.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandising materials are well‑presented.
- Monitor inventory levels at the register, report low‑stock items, and coordinate with the back‑of‑house team for timely replenishment.
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports, identifying any discrepancies or trends for management review.
- Adhere to company policies regarding health, safety, and food hygiene, especially during shift changes.
- Support promotional activities, upsell complementary items, and contribute ideas for improving the customer experience.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, POS upgrades, and service standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues across shifts to ensure a seamless handover and consistent service quality.
Requirements
- Female candidates (as specified) with a maximum age of 28 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a cashier in a restaurant or retail setting.
- Strong desire to learn and develop new skills within the hospitality sector.
- Professional appearance and a friendly demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly disciplined, punctual, and able to work reliably under pressure.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday–Saturday).
- Basic proficiency with cash handling and POS software; familiarity with “Sistem Kasir” is a plus.
- Team‑player attitude with the ability to take initiative and suggest improvements.
