Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Professional Restaurant Waiter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a courteous demeanor.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide detailed explanations of menu items, specials, and dietary options, helping guests make informed choices.
- Monitor tables throughout the dining experience, refill drinks, clear used dishes, and attend to any additional requests promptly.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate service flow and maintain high standards of quality.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS system entries with precision, delivering correct bills and processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing glassware, and ensuring all service stations are stocked.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, performing regular checks to guarantee a safe environment for guests.
- Respond calmly and effectively to guest complaints or special requests, turning challenges into positive experiences.
- Participate in pre‑service briefings, ongoing training sessions, and team meetings to stay updated on menu changes and service protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to all genders; both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, though motivated newcomers with a strong service mindset are welcome.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity to perform under pressure during peak service periods.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, including proper plating and presentation.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
