This role is the frontline of our mission to provide affordable capital to micro‑entrepreneurs, especially women, and to foster sustainable economic growth in rural communities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, community events, and referral networking.
  • Guide prospective clients through Amartha’s loan application process, ensuring all required documentation is collected and verified.
  • Provide ongoing economic coaching and financial literacy training to household members, helping them manage cash flow, budgeting, and business planning.
  • Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses, assessing creditworthiness against Amartha’s risk‑assessment framework and regulatory policies.
  • Monitor repayment schedules, conduct timely collection visits, and negotiate repayment plans when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate field reports, update the digital CRM system, and communicate key insights to the regional manager.
  • Collaborate with local partners, such as cooperatives and community leaders, to build trust and expand the loan portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, health and safety protocols, and local regulations during all field activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable for experienced candidates).
  • All genders welcomed; female candidates are strongly preferred to align with our women‑empowerment focus.
  • Own reliable motorbike or vehicle for daily field travel.
  • Strong integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport in diverse cultural settings.
  • Resilience and problem‑solving attitude; comfortable working independently in remote locations.
  • No prior experience required – we provide comprehensive training, though prior sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with basic digital tools (smartphone, mobile apps) for data entry and reporting.

Benefits

  • Competitive starting salary of IDR 3.5 million per month, plus performance‑based incentives.
  • Annual THR (religious holiday allowance) and quarterly bonus schemes.
  • Clear career path with opportunities to advance to team leader or regional supervisor positions.
  • Permanent employee status after successful probation.
  • Employee loan program with preferential rates for personal development or household needs.
  • Continuous learning through internal training, workshops, and access to e‑learning platforms.
  • Company‑provided mess (staff housing) near the work site, reducing commuting time.
  • Health insurance, transportation allowance, and regular team‑building activities.
  • Supportive work environment that values diversity, inclusion, and community impact.

About Company

Amartha was founded in 2010 with a vision to democratize access to capital for Indonesia’s underserved micro‑entrepreneurs. Leveraging a digital platform, we connect individual lenders with borrowers in remote villages, enabling small‑scale businesses—such as artisans, farmers, and shop owners—to obtain affordable loans that traditional banks often deny.

Our field partners play a crucial role in bridging the digital‑offline gap. By conducting on‑the‑ground assessments, providing financial education, and ensuring loan repayment, they help create a sustainable credit ecosystem that drives poverty alleviation and gender equity. As part of Amartha’s growing network, you will contribute to a socially responsible mission while gaining valuable experience in micro‑finance, sales, and community development.

Join us to make a tangible difference in the lives of thousands of families while building a rewarding career in a fast‑growing fintech environment.
