Introduction
Adira Finance is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Remedial Officer (Collection) to join our team in the Meulaboh – Johan Pahlawan region. This full‑time position plays a critical role in safeguarding the company’s cash flow by ensuring overdue accounts receivable are collected efficiently and in accordance with our strict compliance standards. The successful candidate will operate within a collaborative environment, reporting directly to the Collection Manager and working closely with credit, underwriting, and sales teams to resolve delinquent accounts while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the end‑to‑end collection process for all A/R overdue accounts, ensuring timely recovery in line with established targets.
- Conduct daily monitoring of delinquent accounts, prioritizing cases based on risk exposure and outstanding balances.
- Initiate contact with borrowers via phone, email, and in‑person visits to negotiate repayment plans, settlements, or restructuring options.
- Document all collection activities accurately in the CRM system, updating status, remarks, and agreed‑upon actions.
- Collaborate with the credit underwriting department to verify borrower information and assess the feasibility of repayment proposals.
- Prepare regular collection reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators such as recovery rate, aging trends, and escalations.
- Escalate high‑risk or legally complex cases to the legal department for further action, including filing of lawsuits or asset repossession.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards throughout the collection lifecycle.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and training sessions to share best practices and continuously improve collection strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (all majors) – candidates from any field of study are welcome.
- Gender: Male.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related finance functions (experience is a strong plus but fresh graduates may apply).
- Solid understanding of multifinance business processes and a strong orientation toward achieving collection targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, meticulousness, and honesty.
- Proficiency in credit monitoring, credit processing, and debt recovery techniques.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, with flexibility to attend occasional field visits within the assigned domicile.
- Placement: Adira Finance office located in the candidate’s domicile area.
