Introduction
Medicom is a leading pharmaceutical and consumer‑goods distributor operating across Central Java, with major hubs in Semarang, Yogyakarta, Solo, and Purwokerto. We are seeking energetic, reliable individuals to join our warehouse team on a part‑time freelance basis as Staff Packing. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods from inbound shipments to outbound deliveries, ensuring that every package reaches the customer accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload inbound shipments, verifying quantities against packing lists and recording any discrepancies.
- Inspect received goods for damage, report issues to the warehouse supervisor, and properly store items in designated locations.
- Pick orders from inventory, assemble items according to customer specifications, and pack them securely using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label each package clearly with destination details, tracking numbers, and any special handling instructions.
- Monitor shipment deadlines and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch of parcels.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and safety protocols to maintain a clean, hazard‑free work environment.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment as needed.
- Perform ad‑hoc tasks such as equipment checks, pallet organization, and facility upkeep to support overall warehouse efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, age 30 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lift and move heavy items safely (minimum 20 kg repeatedly).
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail—accurate picking, precise packing, and error‑free labeling.
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality; speed and accuracy are critical.
- Good communication skills for interacting with supervisors, drivers, and fellow team members.
- Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and reporting of hazards.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑16:30, at any of our Central Java locations.
