As a Business Partner – Staff Lapangan, you will act as the frontline ambassador of Amartha’s lending programs, building relationships with prospective borrowers, supporting existing clients, and ensuring that loan applications are processed efficiently and responsibly.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential borrowers in the Bogor region, presenting Amartha’s capital‑granting programs and encouraging participation.
  • Conduct household economic assessments to understand clients’ financial needs, repayment capacity, and business potential.
  • Perform thorough surveys and feasibility analyses on loan applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies, risk‑assessment criteria, and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendation memos for the credit underwriting team, highlighting key risk factors and growth opportunities.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end collection process, including timely reminders, negotiation of repayment schedules, and resolution of any payment disputes.
  • Maintain accurate field records using Amartha’s digital CRM system, updating client profiles, visit logs, and transaction histories on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate closely with the regional operations supervisor to align field activities with quarterly targets and community outreach initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing financial literacy coaching to borrowers, helping them improve budgeting, cash‑flow management, and business planning skills.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews to continuously enhance field techniques and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
  • Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years as per company policy).
  • Open to all genders; female candidates are especially encouraged.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for daily field visits.
  • Strong integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Resilience and adaptability to work independently in varied field conditions.
  • Basic digital literacy; ability to use mobile apps for data entry and reporting.
  • No prior experience required—comprehensive training will be provided.
