Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and trustworthy Security Officer – Pengawas Keamanan to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as the frontline guardian of our facilities, ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This role is ideal for individuals who have completed at least a high‑school education, demonstrate strong personal integrity, and are ready to work a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points, conducting identity verification and maintaining accurate visitor logs.
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle, checking for unauthorized persons, unsafe conditions, or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and access control procedures, reporting any violations to management.
- Conduct routine inspections of fire safety equipment, CCTV systems, and perimeter fencing, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and handover reports to ensure seamless shift transitions.
- Provide courteous assistance to employees and visitors, offering directions, information, and support while upholding a professional demeanor.
- Participate in regular security briefings, training sessions, and drills to stay current with best practices and emerging threats.
- Assist in the implementation of loss‑prevention strategies, including bag checks, vehicle inspections, and inventory safeguarding.
- Support crowd management during events, meetings, or high‑traffic periods, ensuring orderly flow and compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (high school diploma or vocational certificate).
- Male candidates are preferred due to the physical nature of the duties.
- Age: up to 35 years old (maximum age limit as stipulated by the employer).
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (both spoken and written) and the ability to interact courteously with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a high level of personal integrity.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and to respond quickly to incidents.
- Basic proficiency with security equipment such as CCTV monitors, radios, and access‑control systems.
- Willingness to work a consistent schedule of Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime for special events or emergencies.
