Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Officer Manajemen Risiko Kredit to join our dynamic Risk Management team within a leading micro‑finance institution. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the organization’s financial health by identifying, evaluating, and mitigating credit and operational risks associated with our lending portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Risk Management, contribute to strategic risk‑mitigation initiatives, and ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive identification, analysis, and mapping of both internal and external risks affecting the company’s credit operations.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the enterprise risk management framework to reflect evolving market conditions.
- Provide actionable recommendations for risk mitigation strategies, focusing on credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk.
- Perform detailed credit analysis for micro‑finance financing proposals, assessing borrower creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and collateral adequacy.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented risk controls, track key risk indicators (KRIs), and adjust mitigation measures as needed.
- Prepare and present periodic risk reports to senior management, highlighting emerging risk trends, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including credit underwriting, loan operations, and compliance—to ensure risk considerations are embedded in all business processes.
- Support the Head of Risk Management in policy formulation, process redesign, and training initiatives aimed at fostering a strong risk‑aware culture.
- Adhere strictly to the organization’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow directions from supervisors while exercising professional judgment.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor degree) in any field; preferred majors: Economics, Accounting, or Management.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in risk management, credit analysis, or micro‑finance operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, credit scoring models, and risk metrics.
- Proficiency in credit risk analysis, financial risk assessment, and risk mitigation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to convey complex risk concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
