Introduction
The Staf Penunjang Layanan Floor (Floor Service Support Staff) plays a pivotal role in delivering a seamless and memorable experience for guests in hospitality venues such as hotels, restaurants, and event centers. Reporting to the Floor Manager, this position ensures that the service area operates efficiently, that guests receive prompt assistance, and that the overall environment reflects the high standards of the establishment. Ideal candidates are adaptable, customer‑focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, answer inquiries, and guide them to their seats or service areas.
- Assist waitstaff and kitchen crews by delivering orders, clearing tables, and restocking service stations promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floor, including polishing tables, arranging linens, and ensuring all public areas are presentable.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the shift, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism.
- Support inventory control by tracking supplies such as napkins, cutlery, and beverage containers, and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with security and maintenance teams to handle emergencies, spills, or equipment malfunctions swiftly.
- Prepare the floor for special events, including arranging décor, coordinating with event planners, and ensuring timelines are met.
- Document daily activities, incident reports, and service feedback in the venue’s management system.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages, and adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Work efficiently under high‑pressure situations, especially during peak dining hours and large gatherings.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Prior experience in food‑and‑beverage service, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Key Skills: Strong communication abilities, honesty, reliability, and a sense of responsibility.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently, adaptability to changing priorities, and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and move quickly across the service floor.
- Availability: Willingness to work a Monday‑Saturday schedule, from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime during events.
- Language: Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language skills are a plus.
