Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader and Operational Supervisor to join our growing food‑service operation in Purwokerto. Responsibilities

  • Oversee day‑to‑day operational activities from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Saturday, ensuring all service standards are met.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of kitchen and service staff, fostering a collaborative and disciplined work environment.
  • Coordinate production schedules for basic pastry and bakery items, guaranteeing freshness, consistency, and adherence to recipes.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, turning challenges into opportunities for loyalty building.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders for raw materials, and control waste to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics such as sales, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement training programs for new hires and ongoing skill development for existing staff, especially in food‑service etiquette and pastry techniques.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotions, seasonal menus, and special events that drive foot traffic.
  • Conduct regular audits of equipment and facilities, coordinating maintenance to prevent downtime.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor’s degree); candidates with a background in culinary arts or hospitality are preferred.
  • Age range: 18–30 years old, with a strong desire to grow within the industry.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Residency: Must be domiciled in Purwokerto or willing to relocate.
  • Proven leadership and team‑building abilities; prior supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to engage with diverse clientele.
  • Passion for culinary craftsmanship, especially basic pastry and bakery production.
  • Positive attitude, disciplined work ethic, and a results‑oriented mindset.
  • SMK Tataboga (Culinary) graduates are highly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and safety regulations.
