Introduction
The Head of Branch Recovery Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the end‑to‑end recovery process at our branch level. Responsibilities
- Lead the recruitment and onboarding of mitra lunas tarik (recovery partners) in alignment with branch needs, ensuring the right mix of skills and geographic coverage.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs and continuous coaching to elevate partner competency, productivity, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Plan and assign weekly work orders (WO) and candidate contracts, balancing priority, workload, and partner capacity to maximize recovery efficiency.
- Supervise field activities, monitor visit logs, tracking reports, and on‑site performance metrics, guaranteeing that all actions meet the branch’s targets and regulatory requirements.
- Follow up on recovery work orders originating from both partner‑generated leads and Head Office assignments, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
- Prepare and present daily activity reports—including visits, tracking updates, and WO follow‑ups—to the Branch Manager and Head Office with precision and punctuality.
- Maintain strong working relationships with third‑party entities such as PT Prof Coll, law enforcement agencies, and other support organizations to facilitate smooth execution of recovery operations.
- Analyze recovery data to identify trends, risk factors, and opportunities for process improvement, and propose actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, legal statutes, and ethical standards while handling sensitive borrower information.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement among all recovery partners and internal staff.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar recovery or collections function, or a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role overseeing field teams.
- Valid driver’s license (SIM A or C) and willingness to travel extensively within the branch’s jurisdiction.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight targets while maintaining high quality standards.
- Strong familiarity with the local geography and neighborhoods where recovery activities are conducted.
- Established external relationships with local authorities, legal professionals, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasion skills, with a focus on ethical debt recovery practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to lead diverse partner teams and interact with senior management.
