Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Radiographer to join our diagnostic imaging team and deliver high‑quality medical imaging services. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including conventional radiography, fluoroscopy, and basic computed tomography (CT) scans, while maintaining optimal image quality.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort and safety, especially for vulnerable groups such as pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Operate imaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications and institutional protocols, performing routine quality control checks and reporting any technical issues.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to select appropriate imaging modalities and to adjust techniques based on clinical indications.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and radiation dose documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital information systems.
- Mentor junior radiographers and assist in the orientation of new staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, providing insights on imaging findings and contributing to patient management plans.
- Adhere strictly to radiation protection principles, including the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) concept, to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
- Assist in the development and revision of departmental policies, standard operating procedures, and best‑practice guidelines.
- Engage in ongoing education, attend workshops, and stay current with emerging imaging technologies and clinical research.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Active Indonesian Radiology Technologist Registration (STR) is mandatory.
- Female candidates, age not exceeding 35 years.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated responsibility, integrity, and honesty in handling patient information and equipment.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Either fresh graduates with a solid academic foundation or candidates with prior clinical experience are welcome to apply.
- Readiness to commence employment immediately or within a short notice period.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital imaging systems, PACS, and basic computer literacy.
