Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers in the target region, promoting Amartha’s loan programs and explaining their benefits.
- Conduct on‑site economic assessments and provide ongoing mentorship to household members, helping them improve financial literacy and business practices.
- Perform thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk criteria, and documentation standards.
- Manage the collection process, following up with borrowers on repayment schedules, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate records of payment status.
- Collaborate with the regional operations team to relay market insights, emerging trends, and feedback from borrowers that can improve product offerings.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold Amartha’s brand values while traveling daily across the assigned territory.
- Utilize a personal vehicle responsibly for field visits, adhering to safety guidelines and reporting mileage for reimbursement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable for experienced candidates).
- All genders are welcome; female candidates are given preference to align with community outreach goals.
- Possession of a reliable personal vehicle is mandatory for daily field activities.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, attention to detail, strong communication skills, resilience, and disciplined work habits.
- Ability to work independently in a field environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple borrower interactions.
- No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community development, or micro‑finance will be advantageous.
- Basic digital literacy for using Amartha’s mobile and web applications to capture data and generate reports.
