Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee‑based beverages, teas, and specialty non‑coffee drinks according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain high standards of drink presentation, ensuring each cup meets quality, taste, and visual guidelines.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Take customer orders accurately, provide product recommendations, and answer questions about menu items.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Keep the service counter, seating area, and back‑of‑house clean and organized, following health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; communicate restocking needs to management.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including equipment cleaning, stock checks, and securing the premises.
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests with a friendly attitude, remembering regulars’ preferences, and handling complaints professionally.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar barista or café‑service role (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply).
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (additional language abilities are a plus).
- Positive attitude, service‑oriented mindset, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods, latte art, and beverage hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work a Monday‑Saturday schedule, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional weekend or holiday shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg.
- Team player who can collaborate with kitchen staff, managers, and fellow baristas.
