Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Air‑Conditioning System Technician to join our growing maintenance team. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with a variety of commercial and residential HVAC units, including split, cassette, and standing‑type air conditioners. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in basic electrical and mechanical principles, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to learn on the job while delivering high‑quality service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection, installation, and preventive maintenance of air‑conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and small‑industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in split, cassette, and standing‑type AC units, including refrigerant leaks, electrical wiring issues, and compressor malfunctions.
- Assist senior technicians in major repair projects, learning best practices for system testing, pressure gauge usage, and component replacement.
- Maintain accurate service records, complete job‑completion reports, and update maintenance logs using mobile applications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, proper handling of refrigerants, and adherence to local environmental regulations.
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining technical findings, recommended solutions, and estimated costs in a courteous and understandable manner.
- Manage personal tools, vehicle, and mobile phone to coordinate service calls efficiently and arrive on schedule.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, certifications, and workshops to stay current with the latest HVAC technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Male candidates aged 25‑35 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in basic electrical work, mechanical maintenance, or as an assistant AC technician.
- Valid KTP and latest diploma or certificate.
- Own a smartphone, a motorbike, and a valid driving license (SIM).
- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non‑technical clients.
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical schematics, and hand‑tool usage is highly preferred.
