We are a fast‑growing retail chain seeking a dedicated Petugas Kasir Penjualan Ritel to join our team in Sengkang. This role is essential for delivering a seamless checkout experience to our customers while supporting daily store operations. The successful candidate will work in a vibrant, customer‑focused environment, handling cash and electronic transactions, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the store.
Responsibilities
- Process all sales transactions accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system, including cash, debit, credit, and mobile payments.
- Provide friendly, courteous service to every customer, answering product inquiries and offering suggestions to enhance the shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area, ensuring that cash registers, scanners, and related equipment are fully functional.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies to the store manager promptly.
- Assist with inventory control by scanning and recording incoming stock, performing price checks, and flagging low‑stock items for replenishment.
- Collaborate with sales floor staff to resolve customer complaints, returns, and exchanges in line with company policies.
- Monitor and enforce store security procedures, such as verifying IDs for age‑restricted purchases and preventing shoplifting.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay up‑to‑date on new product lines, promotional campaigns, and system updates.
- Support opening and closing duties, which include preparing the cash register, counting cash, and ensuring the store is ready for the next business day.
- Contribute ideas for improving checkout efficiency, reducing wait times, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (as per company policy for this specific location).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have personal transportation available.
- Not currently enrolled in any educational program; able to commit full‑time.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to work an 8‑hour shift schedule, Monday through Saturday (08:00 – 17:00).
- Basic proficiency with cash handling and familiarity with POS or cashier systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical ability, and the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced retail environment.
