Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Staff Purchasing and Goods Management professional to join our fast‑growing operations team. - Monitor inventory levels using ERP systems, conduct regular stock reconciliations, and implement just‑in‑time (JIT) practices to minimize holding costs.
- Analyze purchase data, cost trends, and market fluctuations to provide actionable insights and cost‑saving recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline inbound shipments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Lead and mentor junior purchasing staff, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, supplier performance metrics, and inventory turnover to stakeholders.
- Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to ethical standards, corporate social responsibility guidelines, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Work effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines during peak production periods while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a strong advantage.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing, retail, or distribution sectors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trustful relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility in handling confidential pricing and contract information.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, adapting to shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in using ERP or purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and strong MS Office (Excel) capabilities for data analysis.
- Resilience under pressure; comfortable managing multiple requests simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
