Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests, presenting menus and explaining daily specials with a friendly demeanor.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring any dietary restrictions or special requests are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, checking in with guests to guarantee satisfaction throughout the meal.
- Process payments using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, polishing cutlery, and resetting stations after each service.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen personnel, bar staff, and fellow waitstaff to ensure smooth workflow during peak periods.
- Monitor inventory of tableware, linens, and condiments, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary to ensure a positive resolution.
- Participate in regular training sessions and staff meetings to continuously improve service quality and stay updated on resort promotions.
Requirements
- Age between 22 and 30 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or an equivalent high‑school diploma.
- At least one (1) year of prior experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
- Basic proficiency in English to communicate with international guests.
- Strong commitment to a minimum one‑year tenure with Kimo Resort; abrupt resignations are not permitted.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a high degree of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strict adherence to the policy of not using personal mobile devices during working hours.
- Resilience under pressure, especially during busy service periods.
- High initiative, quick learning ability, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Willingness to be stationed on Pulau Banyak for the duration of employment.
