We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our frontline operations as Store Crew – Cashier. This role is the face of our retail environment, ensuring every customer enjoys a smooth, friendly, and efficient checkout experience. Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately, processing cash, credit, and electronic payments.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product queries, and provide personalized assistance to enhance satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular tidying of counters, scanning equipment, and surrounding merchandise.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policy while preserving a positive brand image.
- Monitor inventory levels at the register, report low‑stock items, and assist with restocking shelves during quieter periods.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, reconciling transactions and preparing daily reports for management.
- Collaborate with fellow crew members to execute promotional events, seasonal sales, and in‑store marketing initiatives.
- Observe and enforce safety and security procedures, including loss‑prevention measures and emergency protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with product knowledge, new POS features, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 25 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders, with a specific preference for female candidates as per local hiring guidelines.
- Marital status: Single / not married.
- Employment status: Must not be currently employed elsewhere.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in retail, hospitality, or any customer‑facing role.
- Core skills: Proficient in operating a cashier system, basic math, and handling transactions.
- Soft skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
- Availability: Able to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
