Introduction
The Manager of Learning and Development (L&D) plays a strategic role in shaping the talent pipeline of our organization. In this position you will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning initiatives that empower employees to excel, adapt to change, and drive business results. The role reports to the Head of Human Resources and collaborates closely with department heads, senior leadership, and external training providers to ensure that our workforce possesses the competencies needed for today’s competitive market.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Analyses (TNA) across all functional areas to identify skill gaps and align learning priorities with corporate objectives.
- Design, develop, and update curricula, e‑learning modules, workshops, and blended learning programs that reflect best practices and industry standards.
- Facilitate classroom sessions, virtual webinars, and on‑the‑job coaching while ensuring a learner‑centric experience.
- Partner with subject‑matter experts to create role‑specific learning paths and career development frameworks.
- Implement robust evaluation methods (Kirkpatrick Model, ROI analysis) to measure the impact of training on performance, productivity, and employee engagement.
- Maintain a centralized Learning Management System (LMS), track attendance, certification status, and generate analytical reports for senior management.
- Manage the L&D budget, negotiate contracts with external vendors, and oversee the procurement of learning technologies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging knowledge sharing, mentorship programs, and peer‑learning communities.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in adult learning, digital education tools, and industry regulations to keep the organization ahead of the curve.
- Coordinate the scheduling of training sessions, ensuring adherence to the Monday‑Friday work schedule (08:00‑17:00) and minimal disruption to daily operations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in learning and development, corporate training, or instructional design.
- Strong active communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage audiences of all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop curricula, assess training effectiveness, and apply data‑driven improvements.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, SAP SuccessFactors) and e‑learning authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate).
- Excellent organizational and project‑management capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and deadline adherence.
