Introduction
Hanifa Islamic School Pamulang, a leading educational institution in South Tangerang, is seeking a dedicated Guru Matematika (Program Infal) to join our dynamic team. This full‑time position focuses on delivering high‑quality mathematics instruction to primary school students (SD) while upholding the school’s Islamic values and Salafist teaching methodology. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining continuity of learning during a temporary maternity leave period and will contribute to the school’s mission of nurturing academically strong, morally grounded learners.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging mathematics lessons for grades 1‑6, aligning with the national curriculum and the school’s Salafist educational framework.
- Develop weekly and monthly lesson plans, incorporating diverse instructional strategies such as manipulatives, visual aids, and technology‑enhanced activities.
- Coordinate with fellow teachers to integrate cross‑subject projects that reinforce mathematical concepts in real‑world contexts.
- Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate grade records in the classroom management system.
- Prepare and submit administrative documentation, including lesson plans, attendance sheets, and student performance reports.
- Facilitate small‑group tutoring and remedial sessions to address individual learning gaps.
- Participate in parent‑teacher conferences, offering clear explanations of student achievements and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with school leadership on curriculum refinement, professional development initiatives, and community outreach programs.
- Uphold the school’s Islamic ethos by modeling appropriate behavior, integrating moral lessons where suitable, and respecting cultural sensitivities.
- Serve as a temporary replacement for a teacher on maternity leave for a period of three months, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of instruction.
Requirements
- Islamic faith with a preference for candidates following the Salafist (Salaf) methodology.
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics Education or a related field; minimum of D3/D4 acceptable.
- Proven experience teaching primary‑level mathematics, preferably in an Islamic school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to design lesson plans, coordinate classroom activities, and evaluate learning outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Female candidates (per school policy) with a professional demeanor and a passion for nurturing young minds.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 07:00‑15:30 WIB, with occasional Saturday duties as needed.
