Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Laundry dan Penataan Kebersihan Hotel to join our hospitality team. As a key member of our housekeeping and front‑office support staff, you will ensure that laundry operations run smoothly, garments are expertly pressed, and the overall cleanliness standards of the hotel are consistently upheld.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and folding equipment, while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests at the laundry counter, handling inquiries, processing orders, and managing cash transactions with accuracy.
- Sort, wash, dry, and iron a wide variety of fabrics, using steam irons and specialized equipment to maintain garment quality.
- Perform quality checks on all processed items, ensuring no stains, damages, or incorrect folding before delivery to guests.
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and ironing accessories, and report low stock to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and room service teams to coordinate linen turnover, ensuring timely replacement of bed sheets, towels, and uniforms.
- Follow strict hygiene standards, including regular cleaning of machines, workstations, and surrounding areas to prevent cross‑contamination.
- Document daily output, machine performance, and any maintenance issues, contributing to operational reports for management review.
- Uphold the hotel’s brand values by providing courteous, trustworthy, and professional service to all guests.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel laundry or related hospitality service.
- Open to candidates of all educational backgrounds; secondary education or higher is preferred.
- Female Muslim applicants preferred, with a maximum age of 40 years.
- Demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer service skills, including clear communication and cash handling accuracy.
- Proficiency in operating laundry machinery and steam‑iron equipment.
- Ability to fold clothing efficiently and maintain a neat work environment.
- Flexibility to work variable shift schedules as determined by hotel operations.
- Basic computer literacy for order entry and inventory tracking.
