Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Supervisor Layanan Spa dan Trainer to lead our spa operations and training programs at a leading hospitality resort. This role combines hands‑on supervision of daily spa services with the responsibility of developing and coaching our team of therapists and front‑desk staff. The ideal candidate is a guest‑focused professional with a solid background in hospitality, excellent communication skills in English, and a passion for delivering exceptional wellness experiences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the spa, ensuring all services meet brand standards and guest expectations.
- Coordinate staff schedules, manage shift rotations, and ensure adequate coverage on weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for spa therapists, receptionists, and support staff, focusing on technique, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of treatment rooms, equipment, and public areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly, turning challenges into opportunities for service recovery.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote spa packages, seasonal offers, and loyalty programs.
- Track inventory of spa products, linens, and supplies, placing orders as needed while controlling costs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, analyzing key metrics such as occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
- Mentor junior staff, provide performance evaluations, and identify career development pathways.
- Ensure all team members present a professional, disciplined, and well‑groomed appearance in line with brand image.
Requirements
- Minimum D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor) degree, preferably in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in a supervisory or trainer role within a spa, resort, or hotel environment.
- Relevant hospitality background is strongly preferred.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Guest‑oriented mindset with a strong focus on service quality.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment.
