This role serves the Surakarta (Solo) metropolitan area and the surrounding regencies of Karanganyar, Sukoharjo, Sragen, Klaten, Wonogiri, and Boyolali, covering numerous districts such as Ngargoyoso, Serengan, Pasar Kliwon, Mojolaban, and more.
Our couriers are the front‑line ambassadors of LEX, ensuring each parcel reaches its destination safely, on time, and with a smile. Responsibilities
- Pick up parcels from LEX hubs, partner stores, or direct senders within the assigned coverage area.
- Plan optimal delivery routes using maps, GPS, and local knowledge to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Inspect packages for damage, verify shipping labels, and ensure correct handling of fragile or high‑value items.
- Deliver parcels to residential, commercial, and institutional customers, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Provide courteous, professional, and proactive customer service, addressing inquiries or issues on the spot.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, update status in LEX’s tracking system, and report any incidents or delays promptly.
- Collect cash‑on‑delivery (COD) payments where applicable and ensure secure hand‑over to the finance team.
- Perform routine vehicle checks, keep the motorcycle or car clean, and report maintenance needs to keep the fleet in top condition.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on safety, handling procedures, and customer communication.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations, company policies, and safety standards to protect yourself, the public, and the parcels.
Requirements
- Maximum age of 55 years.
- Education: open to all levels (SD/SMP/SMA/ Diploma/ Sarjana).
- Possess a valid driver’s license (SIM) and up‑to‑date vehicle registration (STNK) for a motorcycle or car.
- Own a reliable personal vehicle suitable for daily deliveries.
- Willingness to be assigned to any of the specified districts within Surakarta, Karanganyar, Sukoharjo, Sragen, Klaten, Wonogiri, or Boyolali.
- Strong sense of discipline, responsibility, and a proactive attitude toward customers.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with hub staff, dispatchers, and fellow couriers.
- Basic map reading and navigation skills; familiarity with local streets is a plus.
- Ability to work the shift from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM; exact working days will be communicated during onboarding.
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 20 kg and handle multiple parcels per trip.
