Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Industrial Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team in Kab. Grobogan. This full‑time position offers a Monday‑Saturday schedule (08:00 – 17:00) and provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or professionals with a technical background to apply their analytical and coordination skills in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate closely with maintenance and production teams, and help drive operational efficiency across the plant.
Responsibilities
- Analyze production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop data‑driven recommendations to improve throughput and reduce waste.
- Conduct time‑and‑motion studies, create standard operating procedures, and maintain process documentation in line with Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to schedule preventive maintenance, track equipment reliability, and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Prepare detailed reports and visual dashboards using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office tools to present findings to senior management.
- Support cross‑functional teams in implementing process redesigns, layout changes, and capacity planning projects.
- Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and automation solutions, providing cost‑benefit analyses and feasibility studies.
- Facilitate training sessions for shop‑floor staff on best practices, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), cycle time, and defect rates, ensuring targets are met.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders in both Indonesian and English to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement workshops and contribute ideas for sustainability and cost‑saving initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum D3/S1 in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Active proficiency in English (both spoken and written) to prepare reports and interact with multinational partners.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with diverse teams and convey technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Willingness to be based in Kab. Grobogan and travel to other plant locations as required.
