To support our expanding network of service points, we are seeking a motivated Frontliner – Petugas Counter Penjualan who will be the first point of contact for our customers. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth transactions, accurate data handling, and a positive customer experience at our busy counter.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers at the service counter, providing courteous and professional service.
- Receive and process shipment requests for parcels and documents, verifying sender and receiver details.
- Answer inquiries about rates, delivery estimates, service coverage areas, and additional offerings such as insurance or specialized packaging.
- Enter shipment information accurately into the company’s tracking system and generate printable receipts.
- Weigh and measure packages, ensuring compliance with weight limits and size restrictions.
- Handle both cash and non‑cash payments, reconcile daily cash totals, and prepare end‑of‑day transaction reports.
- Address customer complaints regarding delays, loss, or damage, offering immediate solutions per SOP and escalating complex issues to the central Customer Service or Operations teams.
- Promote ancillary services (e.g., cargo insurance, wooden packing) and nurture relationships with regular clients to meet counter sales targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized counter area, properly filing receipts and documentation for easy retrieval.
- Ensure that all shipped items comply with prohibited‑goods regulations and adhere to security and confidentiality protocols.
- Perform routine checks on counter equipment (scales, printers, computers) to guarantee operational readiness.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in any field.
- Age: Up to 27 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing, counter‑based, or logistics environment.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to quickly learn proprietary tracking software.
- Excellent attention to detail for data entry, cash handling, and document filing.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑service mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet daily performance targets.
- Flexibility to work Tuesday through Sunday, 08:00‑17:00, including occasional peak‑season overtime.
