Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Spot Worker to join our agricultural operations in Solok, Indonesia. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with a fresh perspective who are eager to contribute to the efficiency and productivity of field activities. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that supports daily farm operations, ensures timely execution of tasks, and upholds the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, planting, and maintenance of crops across designated plots, following agronomic best practices.
- Operate and maintain basic agricultural equipment, ensuring proper usage and reporting any malfunctions to supervisors.
- Conduct routine field inspections to identify pest, disease, or irrigation issues and relay findings to the agronomy team.
- Support logistics by loading, transporting, and unloading materials and produce using a personal motorbike and adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, including planting dates, fertilizer applications, and harvest yields.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external vendors to coordinate schedules and resolve on‑site challenges.
- Participate in regular training sessions on sustainable farming techniques, safety procedures, and equipment handling.
- Ensure compliance with local agricultural regulations and company policies regarding labor, environment, and quality control.
- Provide occasional assistance during peak harvest periods, including sorting, packing, and loading of produce for market delivery.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude by identifying opportunities for process improvement and suggesting actionable solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Agriculture or a related field.
- Age range: 23‑32 years.
- Open to all genders.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey instructions clearly and professionally.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; however, candidates with prior field or agricultural experience will be given preference.
- Demonstrated discipline, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Possession of a valid motorbike (motor) and a Class C driving license (SIM C) is mandatory.
- Basic computer literacy for record‑keeping and reporting.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Saturday.
- Willingness to adhere to company safety standards and attend regular training workshops.
