Introduction
We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Drafter – Penyusunan Gambar Teknis to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing technical drawings that serve as the backbone of our product development and manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for professionals with at least five years of drafting experience, strong proficiency in CAD software, and a solid understanding of engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Produce, develop, and revise design drawings in accordance with supervisor instructions and project specifications.
- Prepare detailed work documents such as shop drawings, as‑built drawings, layout plans, and installation schematics, ensuring compliance with internal and industry standards.
- Verify the accuracy and clarity of drawings to serve as definitive product specifications throughout the production cycle.
- Generate comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) to support procurement, inventory control, and cost estimation.
- Assist the mechanical assembly team by providing precise drawing packages that facilitate seamless component integration.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and quality assurance personnel to resolve design issues, incorporate revisions, and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
- Utilize 3‑D modeling tools to create realistic visualizations, perform interference checks, and simulate assembly processes.
- Maintain a well‑organized library of drawing files, version histories, and related technical data for easy retrieval.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting workflow optimizations and adopting emerging drafting technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMK/D3/S1 in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of professional drafting experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proficiency with industry‑standard CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, and 3ds Max; experience with sheet‑metal design, weldment creation, and assembly modeling is essential.
- Strong knowledge of technical drawing standards, symbols, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing details.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and client requirements into accurate 2‑D and 3‑D drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
