Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Petugas Pengambil Pesanan dan Layanan Pelanggan to join our international hotel chain. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring that every order, request, and inquiry is handled with professionalism, speed, and a genuine smile. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of service that our brand is known for across the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and manage guest orders for food, beverages, and ancillary services using the VHP (Visual Hotel Program) system.
- Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, and front‑desk teams to guarantee timely delivery and flawless execution of guest requests.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, payments, and any special guest preferences or dietary restrictions.
- Provide proactive assistance during the pre‑opening phase, helping to establish standard operating procedures and training new staff members.
- Lead and motivate a small team of order‑taking assistants, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with empathy, resolve them promptly, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Prepare daily reports on order volume, guest feedback, and service efficiency for management review.
- Participate in regular briefings and training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, promotions, and service technologies.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in all service areas, conducting regular checks and reporting any irregularities.
Requirements
- Minimum of D3/D4 education.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an international hotel chain.
- Proficiency with the VHP (Visual Hotel Program) system is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in a pre‑opening environment is an advantage.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of guiding teams to achieve targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken in English.
- Team‑player mindset with a results‑oriented approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, Monday to Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Demonstrated skill in sales development and upselling to enhance guest experience.
