Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Trainer Barista Profesional to join our fast‑growing Food & Beverage (FnB) brand. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee culture, possesses deep operational knowledge of coffee‑shop environments, and excels at developing people. In this role you will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that empower both new hires and seasoned staff to deliver consistent product quality, exceptional service, and memorable hospitality across all of our outlets.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and conduct comprehensive training sessions for new barista and kitchen staff, ensuring rapid onboarding and skill acquisition.
- Develop refresher workshops and advanced modules for existing team members to keep them up‑to‑date with evolving SOPs, new product launches, and service standards.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to product preparation SOPs, cleanliness protocols, and service excellence guidelines on a daily basis.
- Perform regular coaching cycles, including on‑the‑job observations, performance evaluations, and targeted feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Track key quality indicators such as taste consistency, drink preparation speed, and guest satisfaction, and intervene promptly when standards slip.
- Compile detailed training reports that capture skill development progress, identify gaps, and recommend additional learning resources.
- Collaborate with outlet managers to customize training content that reflects each location’s unique flow and customer profile.
- Serve as a mobile trainer, traveling to multiple outlets across the region to ensure uniformity of standards and to support local teams.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience as a barista or kitchen crew member, with proven leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong command of coffee brewing techniques, equipment maintenance, and outlet operational flow.
- Excellent verbal communication and public‑speaking abilities, comfortable delivering presentations to groups of any size.
- Demonstrated coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills with a track record of improving team performance.
- High attention to detail, strict adherence to SOPs, and the ability to enforce standards tactfully.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 10:00 – 18:00, and travel to various store locations as needed.
