We are seeking a dedicated Pelatih Renang (Swimming Instructor) to join our dynamic team at StudioRenang.com outlets in Pluit or Muara Karang. This full‑time position offers the chance to work with a diverse clientele—including children with special needs, senior citizens, and infants—while contributing to a community‑focused environment that values continuous learning and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver age‑appropriate, safety‑first swimming lessons for special‑needs children, seniors, and babies, adapting techniques to each participant’s physical and cognitive abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of skill progression, attendance, and health observations using the company’s proprietary software platform.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to parents or guardians, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and recommended next steps.
- Conduct routine maintenance of the pool area, including water quality checks, filtration system monitoring, and upkeep of teaching equipment such as flotation devices and safety barriers.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, psychologists, and other specialists to integrate therapeutic exercises into swim sessions when needed.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, share best practices, and contribute ideas for program enhancement.
- Assist in onboarding new participants, conducting orientation sessions for families, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide occasional support during community outreach events and promotional activities to raise awareness of the program’s benefits.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Psychology, Special‑Needs Education, Physical Education, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience teaching swimming or conducting aquatic therapy with special‑needs populations.
- Basic swimming competency and certification (e.g., Lifeguard, First Aid) is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to convey instructions clearly to both participants and their caregivers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for serving children with special needs, senior citizens, and infants, with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Excellent conflict‑management and classroom‑management abilities.
- Flexibility to work Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 – 17:00, with occasional training sessions in West Jakarta.
- Willingness to complete a mandatory one‑month training program prior to starting.
- Age limit: maximum 27 years; gender: open to all.
