Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Sorter Gudang Ekspedisi to join our fast‑paced logistics team in Muarareja, Tegal. As a key member of the warehouse operations, you will play an essential role in ensuring that parcels are accurately sorted, scanned, and prepared for timely delivery to customers across the region. Responsibilities
- Sorting (Penyortiran): Separate incoming and outgoing packages by area code, destination, and service type (e.g., express, regular) to streamline the loading process.
- Scanning & Recording (Pemindaian & Pencatatan): Use handheld scanners or smartphones to capture barcode data for both inbound and outbound shipments, updating the inventory management system in real time.
- Quality Control (Pengecekan Kualitas): Inspect each parcel for physical damage, leaks, or labeling errors, and flag any issues for corrective action.
- Handling & Staging (Penanganan Barang): Move parcels safely to conveyor belts, pallets, or loading bays, ensuring they are positioned correctly for the next transport leg.
- Return Processing (Proses Retur): Manage returned or undeliverable items, coordinate re‑sorting, and update system records accordingly.
- Area Cleanliness & Safety: Keep the sorting zone tidy, free of obstacles, and compliant with occupational safety standards.
- Shift Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow sorters, supervisors, and drivers across rotating shifts to maintain continuous operations.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and handover reports that capture key performance metrics such as volume sorted, errors detected, and any incidents.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates, age 18–35 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, logistics, or a similar sorting role (preferred).
- Possession of a valid KTP and KK (original documents).
- Own a functional smartphone for scanning and communication.
- Personal bank account for payroll processing.
- Physically fit and mentally resilient, capable of standing and moving for extended periods.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Strong time‑management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good eye for detail, especially when checking package integrity and labels.
- Professional attire: short‑sleeve collar‑less t‑shirt, pocket‑less shorts or boxer‑style trousers, and safety shoes at all times.
