Introduction
The Faculty of General Medicine is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified lecturer to join our academic team as a Dosen Program Studi Kedokteran Umum. Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in General Medicine, ensuring that course objectives are met and learning outcomes are achieved.
- Design, update, and evaluate curricula in line with national medical education standards and emerging healthcare trends.
- Supervise student clinical rotations, internships, and capstone projects, providing constructive feedback and mentorship.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research, publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals, and present at national and international conferences.
- Secure research funding through grant applications and manage research budgets responsibly.
- Participate actively in the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi: teaching, research, and community service, including health outreach programs and public health education.
- Engage in academic committees, accreditation processes, and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of medical education.
- Collaborate with hospital partners, government agencies, and professional societies to enhance clinical training opportunities for students.
- Mentor junior faculty and contribute to faculty development initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Master’s degree (S2) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a recognized specialty in General Medicine.
- Professional licensing as a medical doctor; specialist qualification is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level; prior lecturing or clinical instruction is an advantage.
- Strong track record of scientific research, including publications in reputable journals and involvement in funded projects.
- Commitment to the Tri Dharma principles: teaching excellence, rigorous research, and community engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse student cohorts.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, assessment design, and the use of modern educational technologies.
