Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Ahli Teknologi Laboratorium Medik (ATLM) – Spesialis to join our dynamic medical laboratory team in Kebumen. This specialist role is critical for ensuring accurate diagnostic testing, supporting physicians with reliable results, and maintaining the highest standards of laboratory safety and quality. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary health‑care team, contributing to patient care pathways in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory analyses, including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and immunology, following standard operating procedures.
- Prepare, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment such as analyzers, microscopes, and autoclaves, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Interpret test results, verify accuracy, and promptly communicate critical findings to physicians and nursing staff.
- Document all procedures, observations, and quality control data in the laboratory information system (LIS) with meticulous attention to detail.
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs, including proficiency testing and accreditation audits.
- Train and mentor junior laboratory technicians, interns, and support staff on best practices, safety protocols, and proper sample handling.
- Maintain strict adherence to biosafety and infection‑control guidelines, including proper waste disposal and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
- Assist in the development and revision of laboratory SOPs, ensuring they reflect current regulatory standards and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with physicians to troubleshoot atypical test results and recommend additional investigations when necessary.
- Contribute to research initiatives, data collection, and clinical studies that support evidence‑based medical practice.
Requirements
- Indonesian citizenship, age not exceeding 35 years.
- Must be of the Islamic faith, aligning with the organization’s cultural values.
- Active Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR) for medical laboratory technologists or STR currently in the process of issuance.
- Minimum education: High School (SMA) / Vocational School (SMK) or equivalent; candidates with additional certifications are highly regarded.
- Proficiency in computer operations, including laboratory information systems, Microsoft Office, and basic data analysis tools.
- Residents of Kebumen or surrounding areas are given priority to ensure timely on‑site support.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey test results and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
