Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Professional Accountant to join our finance team in Kebumen. This role focuses on comprehensive financial management, preparation of accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will hold at least a D3/D4 degree in Accounting, possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong analytical abilities combined with a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK).
- Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank accounts, cash flows, and ledger entries to guarantee data integrity.
- Assist the Director in the preparation of budget forecasts, variance analyses, and strategic financial plans.
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audit cycles, providing requested schedules and explanations promptly.
- Monitor tax filings, including VAT and corporate income tax, and ensure timely submission to avoid penalties.
- Support the payroll process by verifying employee compensation, benefits, and statutory deductions.
- Develop and implement internal control procedures to minimize risk and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—such as procurement, sales, and operations—to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Continuously stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices, sharing insights with the team.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3 (or D4) in Accounting.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional accounting experience; more experience is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Zahir, or similar), and advanced Microsoft Excel abilities.
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, high level of accuracy, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Personal Attributes: Positive attitude, integrity, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Location: Must be domiciled in Kebumen or willing to relocate.
