Responsibilities
As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for a broad range of duties that ensure smooth store operations and a superior customer experience:
- Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Maintain an organized sales floor by stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and ensuring product displays are attractive and up‑to‑date.
- Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and handle cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments, conducting regular stock counts, and reporting discrepancies.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, escalating complex issues to the store manager when necessary.
- Participate in daily briefings and sales meetings to share insights, discuss promotions, and align with team goals.
- Promote ongoing sales campaigns, loyalty programs, and special offers to maximize revenue.
- Ensure compliance with store policies, health and safety regulations, and loss‑prevention procedures.
- Continuously develop product knowledge through training sessions and self‑study to become a trusted advisor for shoppers.
- Contribute ideas for visual merchandising and store layout improvements based on customer feedback and market trends.
Requirements
- Maximum age of 30 years; candidates of any gender are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3/D4) or equivalent; high school (SMK/SMA) graduates are also considered.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations, including POS software and inventory management tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, honest, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours within the Monday‑Saturday schedule and maintain punctual attendance.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise safely.
