Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Assistant Kitchen Production & Cleanliness to join our fast‑paced catering operation. This full‑time role is ideal for a dedicated female candidate who values discipline, teamwork, and high standards of hygiene. The successful applicant will support our kitchen staff in preparing meals, maintaining a spotless work environment, and ensuring that all food is produced in compliance with religious and safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Assist senior cooks in the preparation, cooking, and plating of a variety of dishes for catering orders and daily lunch service.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as rice cookers, deep fryers, steamers, and food processors according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain strict cleanliness throughout the kitchen, storage rooms, and service areas, including sweeping, mopping, waste segregation, and sanitizing work surfaces.
- Perform regular inventory checks, receive deliveries, and store raw materials and finished products in proper conditions.
- Adhere to the five daily prayers schedule and observe a disciplined work ethic, including refraining from personal phone use while on duty.
- Collaborate closely with team members, communicate effectively during peak periods, and support a harmonious workplace culture.
- Begin work at the pre‑dawn shift (approximately 04:00) and continue until all production targets are met, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down catering stations for events, ensuring all utensils and equipment are accounted for.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality concerns to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Female candidate who regularly observes the five obligatory prayers.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a catering service, warung nasi, or similar food‑service environment is preferred.
- Strong work ethic: no personal phone use during working hours, punctuality for the early‑morning shift.
- Ability to follow established rules and procedures, demonstrating loyalty and reliability.
- Excellent teamwork skills; comfortable collaborating in a busy kitchen setting.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a hot environment.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards and the ability to operate common kitchen tools safely.
