Responsibilities

- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting counter area, ensuring all equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers) is calibrated and serviced regularly.
- Engage customers with friendly, attentive service, offering product recommendations, answering coffee‑related questions, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately manage the point‑of‑sale system.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables, and communicate ordering needs to the store manager.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, tastings, and coffee‑knowledge workshops to stay current with industry trends.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift handovers and support peak‑hour operations.
- Uphold the shop’s brand image by maintaining a professional appearance and demonstrating a positive, drama‑free attitude.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK or equivalent).
- Gender: Female candidates are preferred for this position.
- Age: Open to applicants of any age meeting the legal employment criteria.
- Experience: No prior barista experience required; comprehensive on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Core Skills: Strong interest in coffee, basic math for cash handling, and ability to learn espresso machine operation.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, a courteous demeanor, reliable attendance, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 15 kg, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Shift Availability: Willingness to work night shifts and weekends (Monday‑Saturday schedule, 08:00‑17:00 or alternative evening shifts as needed).
