Introduction
The Hospital is seeking a dedicated Asisten Perawat – Penunjang Pelayanan Kesehatan to join our specialized acupuncture therapy unit, Therapi Akupuntur Merry. This full‑time position supports nursing care and ensures smooth operation of patient‑centered services in a fast‑paced hospital environment. Candidates will work closely with licensed nurses, physicians, and therapists to deliver high‑quality, culturally sensitive care while adhering to strict clinical standards and hospital protocols.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior nurses and acupuncturists during patient assessments, preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing equipment according to infection‑control guidelines.
- Document patient vital signs, treatment outcomes, and any adverse reactions in the hospital’s electronic health record (EHR) system with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide patient education on post‑treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and follow‑up appointments, ensuring comprehension regardless of health literacy level.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, manage patient flow, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to minimize wait times.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies, order consumables, and perform routine checks on acupuncture needles, sterilizers, and other therapeutic devices.
- Support emergency response procedures, including basic life support (BLS) assistance and rapid triage under the supervision of senior staff.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, offering suggestions for workflow enhancements and patient safety improvements.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, including confidentiality (HIPAA/Indonesian health privacy regulations), hygiene standards, and professional conduct.
- Engage in regular training sessions, workshops, and certification courses to stay current with advances in acupuncture therapy and nursing best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Nursing or related health science; SMK Keperawatan/Asper diploma is acceptable.
- Female candidates only; age not exceeding 27 years.
- Unmarried status preferred, reflecting cultural considerations for certain shift patterns.
- At least 0–1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates with strong academic records are welcome.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- High integrity, honesty, and a sincere willingness to begin work immediately.
- Basic proficiency with hospital information systems and familiarization with the Indonesian health care regulatory framework.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist patients with mobility needs.
