Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale system to accurately process food and beverage orders, handle cash, and issue receipts.
- Prepare a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, teas, and specialty seasonal creations, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Craft and assemble food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and light snacks, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Deliver orders promptly to customers’ tables, offering a friendly and attentive service experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including regular wiping of equipment, countertops, and coffee machines.
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the café, such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitising high‑touch surfaces.
- Conduct routine stock checks and inventory counts (stock opname) to guarantee adequate supplies of beans, milk, syrups, and disposables.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, equipment shutdown, and preparation for the next shift.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold health‑and‑safety standards and respond quickly to customer feedback or special requests.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a coffee shop, café, or similar hospitality environment.
- Age up to 26 years preferred, though fresh graduates are warmly welcomed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to speak clearly with customers.
- Demonstrated proficiency with bar equipment, espresso machines, grinders, and basic latte‑art techniques.
- Highly motivated, quick‑thinking, and capable of taking initiative in a busy setting.
- Honest, courteous, and respectful demeanor with a well‑groomed appearance.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts—including opening, middle, and closing periods—as well as weekends, holidays, and public celebrations.
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Residency within reasonable commuting distance to Kedai BP in Depok.
