Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee and tea drinks, including espresso‑based beverages, pour‑overs, cold brews, and seasonal specialty creations.
- Develop and test new drink recipes in collaboration with the head barista and management to keep the menu fresh and innovative.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other equipment safely and efficiently while performing routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Engage customers with friendly, knowledgeable service, answering questions about bean origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and ensure that all ingredients are stored correctly to preserve freshness.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including regular sanitation of workstations and equipment.
- Follow the company’s branding guidelines, visual merchandising standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times.
- Assist in training new team members, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative workplace culture.
- Maintain an organized and inviting café environment, including seating areas, displays, and product showcases.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Open to all candidates (no upper age limit).
- Gender: All genders welcome.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a coffee shop or similar hospitality setting.
- Preferred but not mandatory: relevant certification (e.g., SCA Barista Certificate).
- Proven expertise in tea and coffee preparation, including latte art and drink customization.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work both full‑time (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and part‑time schedules as needed.
- Disciplined approach to following branding guidelines, company rules, and SOPs.
- Creative mindset with the ability to contribute new product ideas.
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash and inventory counts.
