Introduction

We are seeking a diligent Staff Accountant – Financial Management and Bookkeeping to join our growing finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that daily financial transactions are recorded accurately, operational expenses are monitored, and financial statements are prepared in compliance with Indonesian accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of hands‑on accounting experience, a solid educational background (minimum D3/D4), and the ability to work independently while supporting the broader finance function.

Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions with precision, maintaining orderly ledgers and supporting documents.
  • Control and monitor office operational expenses, ensuring all expenditures are properly authorized and documented.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of cash balances and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain and update accounting journals, ensuring all entries comply with applicable standards and internal policies.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns, with a focus on understanding local tax regulations.
  • Support the budgeting process by tracking actuals against forecasts and providing variance explanations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audit periods, supplying requested schedules and explanations.
  • Manage physical and digital filing systems for invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to develop spreadsheets for financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Age not exceeding 39 years; open to all genders.
  • Strong grasp of accounting journals, ledger maintenance, and financial reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations is highly preferred.
  • Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic accounting software.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 08:00‑17:15, with a commitment to meet reporting deadlines.
