Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting market outreach, community visits, and referral networking to promote Amartha’s capital‑raising programs.
- Provide hands‑on economic counseling and financial literacy support to existing members, helping households improve budgeting, savings, and repayment habits.
- Conduct on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring each proposal complies with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed assessment reports, including credit scoring, collateral evaluation, and repayment capacity, to support the approval process.
- Execute the collection cycle by following up with borrowers, negotiating payment plans, and recording collection data in the central system.
- Maintain accurate field records, update the customer relationship management (CRM) platform daily, and relay market insights to the regional manager.
- Collaborate with the training team to deliver workshops on entrepreneurship, digital financial tools, and responsible borrowing.
- Participate in weekly field‑team meetings, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of field operations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable for experienced candidates).
- Both male and female candidates are welcome; female candidates are highly preferred.
- Own reliable motorbike or car to travel daily across the Cirebon Kadawung territory.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust with rural households and explain financial concepts in simple terms.
- Resilience and physical stamina to work outdoors, often in remote villages, for full‑time field duties.
- Basic digital literacy for using smartphones, data entry apps, and Amartha’s internal platforms.
- Prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, community development, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
