Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Kitchen (Operasional Persiapan Makanan) to join our dynamic culinary team. This full‑time position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and possess a strong work ethic. As a key member of the kitchen operations, you will support the creation of high‑quality dishes, maintain strict hygiene standards, and ensure that daily service runs smoothly from opening to close.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, portion, and plate menu items according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, mixers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and store food items following FIFO (first‑in, first‑out) principles.
  • Assist in daily mise en place, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and assembling sauces.
  • Ensure all work stations are kept clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO 22000).
  • Collaborate with chefs, line cooks, and service staff to coordinate order flow and meet peak‑hour demand.
  • Perform regular equipment checks, report any malfunctions, and support routine maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate production logs, waste records, and temperature charts.
  • Contribute ideas for menu improvement, cost‑saving measures, and process efficiencies.
  • Uphold a positive attitude, demonstrate teamwork, and adapt to schedule changes, including weekend shifts.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a commercial kitchen or food preparation environment.
  • All genders are welcome to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and basic maintenance.
  • Excellent personal hygiene and a commitment to food safety standards.
  • Good attitude, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexible availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
  • Basic literacy in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Soft skills: teamwork, communication, attention to detail, time management, and problem‑solving.
