Introduction

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new micro‑entrepreneurial customers within the designated territory, presenting Amartha’s capital‑granting programs and encouraging enrollment.
  • Conduct on‑site economic coaching for member households, helping them develop budgeting skills, improve cash‑flow management, and plan for sustainable growth.
  • Perform detailed field surveys and feasibility analyses on loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting guidelines, risk‑assessment criteria, and internal policies.
  • Prepare clear, data‑driven reports on applicant creditworthiness, market potential, and socio‑economic impact for senior underwriting teams.
  • Execute the full loan collection cycle, including reminder calls, in‑person visits, and negotiation of repayment plans, while maintaining respectful relationships with borrowers.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs of activities, customer interactions, and geographic coverage using the company’s mobile CRM platform.
  • Collaborate closely with regional supervisors, finance officers, and training coordinators to continuously improve service delivery and achieve quarterly targets.
  • Represent Amartha at community events, local business fairs, and farmer gatherings to strengthen brand visibility and trust.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years is acceptable).
  • Both male and female candidates are welcome; female applicants are preferred.
  • Own reliable transportation (motorcycle or car) for daily field visits.
  • Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work habits.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to build rapport with diverse community members.
  • Resilience and toughness to work independently in rural environments and handle challenging repayment situations.
  • No prior experience required, though previous exposure to sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is a plus.
  • Basic digital literacy for using mobile data collection tools and reporting software.
