Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Regional Laundry Operations Manager to lead our network of laundry outlets across the Makassar region. This senior role is pivotal in ensuring that every outlet delivers consistent, high‑quality service in line with our rigorous Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The successful candidate will act as the operational backbone, driving sales performance, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of excellence among the outlet teams.
The position is based in Makassar and requires regular travel to multiple locations throughout the region. Working hours are Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional flexibility to address urgent operational matters.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guarantee that all laundry outlets within the assigned region operate in strict compliance with established SOPs.
- Own the regional revenue and profitability targets, developing actionable plans to achieve or exceed them.
- Monitor outlet performance metrics such as turnaround time, customer satisfaction scores, and sales figures; conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective strategies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Area Coordinators, ensuring they have the tools and direction needed to manage day‑to‑day outlet activities effectively.
- Handle escalated operational issues and complex customer complaints, turning challenges into opportunities for service improvement.
- Conduct routine site visits to assess service quality, operational efficiency, equipment maintenance, and staff adherence to hygiene standards.
- Prepare and present comprehensive operational and sales performance reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and supply‑chain teams to synchronize promotional campaigns, budgeting, and inventory management across the region.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as process automation, waste reduction, and staff training programs, to enhance overall profitability.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline; a background in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or Engineering is a plus.
- At least 3–5 years of experience as an Area Manager or Regional Manager in a multi‑outlet retail or service environment, preferably within the laundry or broader hospitality sector.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple branches, meeting sales targets, and improving operational KPIs.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building high‑performing teams and fostering a collaborative work culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced analytical skills for interpreting sales data, identifying trends, and making data‑driven decisions.
- Proven problem‑solving aptitude, especially in high‑pressure, customer‑facing situations.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region and remain mobile for frequent outlet inspections.
