Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to established recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.

- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards, performing regular checks on storage temperatures, cleanliness, and cross‑contamination prevention.
- Manage inventory, conduct daily stock counts, and communicate ordering needs to the kitchen supervisor to avoid shortages or waste.
- Collaborate closely with front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely service and address special dietary requests or allergies.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Monitor kitchen equipment, schedule routine maintenance, and report any malfunctions to the facilities team.
- Participate in menu planning meetings, providing input on ingredient availability, preparation methods, and cost implications.

- Document daily production logs, waste records, and any incidents, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the kitchen.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 qualification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in a similar cook or kitchen assistant position.
- Technical Skills: Strong cooking techniques, knowledge of food safety regulations, and proficiency in using commercial kitchen equipment.
- Soft Skills: Innovative and creative mindset, strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, attention to detail, and a service‑oriented attitude.
