Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Cook Restaurant Senior – Food Preparation Specialist to join our fast‑growing culinary team. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who thrives in a bustling kitchen environment, possesses a solid foundation in culinary techniques, and is ready to take on greater responsibility in food preparation and team coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to ensure that every dish meets our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and company specifications.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing on‑the‑job training, guidance, and feedback to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations, conducting regular checks and documentation.
  • Manage inventory of raw ingredients, conduct daily stock counts, and coordinate with the purchasing department to minimize waste.
  • Develop and suggest new menu items or improvements to existing dishes, leveraging current food trends and customer feedback.
  • Ensure all cooking stations are organized, clean, and equipped for smooth service during peak hours.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, banquet services, and catering orders.
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee consistent product quality.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to address special dietary requests and resolve any service issues promptly.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings, contribute ideas for operational improvements, and support a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Age: 26 years old or younger.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on training or work experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Proven cooking skills with a strong emphasis on food preparation techniques.
  • Well‑organized, proactive, and able to take initiative without constant supervision.
  • Excellent teamwork abilities; comfortable collaborating with diverse kitchen and service staff.
  • High level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Immediate availability to join the team.
  • Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English for recipe interpretation.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during special events.
